Eligibility requirements for training in the United Nations Organization FAO:

Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of the member states of the organization
Academic achievement: Candidates must be students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate educational program at an accredited educational institution upon application, or be a recent graduate. Candidates who pursue their studies in a country where higher education is not divided into undergraduate and postgraduate levels must have completed at least three years of full-time studies in order to complete a certain level.
Languages: Candidates must have working knowledge of at least one of the official languages ​​of the organization (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Russian). Knowledge of a second official language of the organization would be an advantage.
Age: Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years old at the start of the internship (that is, training should start before the candidate reaches the age of thirty-one).
Skills: Candidates should be able to adapt to an international, multicultural environment, possess good communication skills, and be proficient in the use of basic computer programs.
Residence / Entry Visa: Candidates should have valid residency or legal immigrant status in the country of assignment prior to the start of the internship.
Family Relationships: Candidates whose family member (i.e. brother, sister, mother, or father) works for the organization under any type of contractual arrangement are not eligible to participate in the internship program.
The duration of the internship training ranges from 3 months to 11 months.
