DAAD Scholarships for Master’s Degree in Germany Salary 861 € per month Fully Funded 2021
About the DAAD Scholarship:
DAAD is offering Master’s Scholarships for international students for the academic year 2021. This scholarship program provides the applicant with the opportunity to continue their academic education in Germany through a postgraduate study programme.
Duration of the DAAD Scholarship:
Between 10 and 24 months depending on the length of the chosen study programme.
Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the study period specified for the chosen study program (maximum 24 months). To receive further funding after the first year of study for the two-year courses, proof of the applicant’s academic achievements to date must indicate that the program of study can be successfully completed within the specified period of study.
Applicants who are already in Germany in the first academic year of a two-year postgraduate or master’s program at the time of application can apply for a scholarship for the second year of study. In this case the scholarship cannot be extended.
Benefits and Benefits of the DAAD Scholarship:
1- A scholarship of 861 euros per month.
2- Allowance to cover health insurance, accident insurance and personal liability insurance.
3- Travel allowance.
4- A one-time study allowance.
Under certain conditions, scholarship recipients may receive the following additional benefits:
Monthly rental support.
Monthly allowance for accompanying family members.
Note: To enable scholarship recipients to learn German in preparation for their stay in the country, DAAD offers several services to assist students with language course fees.
Excellently qualified graduates who have completed their first degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or similar academic degree) no later than the time of commencement of the program of study supported by these scholarships.
For applicants from technical and architecture majors, DAAD offers customized scholarship programs.
Requirements to apply for the DAAD Scholarship:
1- As a rule, applicants must have graduated no more than six years before the application deadline.
2- Applicants who have resided in Germany for more than 15 months after the application deadline cannot be considered.
3- The applicant should note that the average GPA of the Bachelor’s degree must be at least 80 percent (ie “very good” or “good”).
